Quarry and AsphaltCraig Chisholm

Craig Chisholm, is the Quarry & Asphalt Divisions Health and Safety Manager, reports directly to the Quarry and Asphalt Division's Director responsible for Health and Safety.  Craig's extensive safety responsibilities include providing advice to all our staff, accident investigation, preparation of select list, pre-tender and construction phase health and safety plans, training, safety documentation, liaising with contractors, and carrying out workplace health and safety audits.

 

Concrete Division

David SmythDavid Smyth has been employed within the Northstone Group for over 26 years after joining the concrete division after finishing university in 1979.

David's brief is the overall responsibility for health and safety at Northstone Concrete Division and is responsible for advising senior and line management on all matters relating to health and safety while also ensuring that the Company’s health and safety policy is implemented. David undertakes regular audits and inspections of all company locations and is involved in devising and delivering ‘in house’ safety training courses as well as sourcing external training providers for recognised industry accredited safety courses.
