Resin-Bound Decorative Surfacings
Resin-bound decorative surfacing is composed of polyurethane or epoxy adhesive dressed with a selected aggregate. It provides an attractive gravel-like finish without the problem of loose stone.
Northstone has laid these extremely durable, non-slip, and aesthetically pleasing systems on footpaths, footbridges, pedestrian precincts, driveways, landscaping schemes and car parks throughout Ireland.
Systems offered include Prismo's Stonegrip® and Addagrip's Addastone®. Resin type can be either epoxy or polyurethane. Resins can be pigmented to blend in with the chosen aggregate. Pigmented aggregates are also available. A wide range of colours is available to highlight, contrast or complement specific areas or features.
